Russia’s Gazprom to boost 2015 output 1.4% to 450 bcm

Kurili02.jpgMOSCOW, May 19 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom will raise the output 1.4% to 450 billion cubic meters in 2015, Vsevolod Cherepanov, member of the management board, told reporters Tuesday.

Earlier, the company planned to boost its output to 485.6 billion cubic meters, he said.

Gazprom will raise gas output at the Bovanenkovo field on the Yamal Peninsula to around 51 billion cubic meters in 2015 from 40 billion meters in 2014, Deputy CEO Vitaly Markelov said.

Gas production at the Sakhalin-2 block will remain flat on the year at 16–17 billion cubic meters, Cherepanov also said. Gazprom holds 50% plus one share in Sakhalin Energy, the operator of the project.
